I'd like for apps not in the space I'm in to not be present on the dock and only show on that space.

I figure I'm already giving Meta a lot of control, so I don't think I would mind. The thing OSX lacks is UI customization, so I would have no problem with an extension to make the dock respond to meta.

We've got this on our list for the command+tab switched - technically we can do it but would need to inject code into the dock - would installing a special extension be something you'd be open to doing if that would give you this feature?
